In an economy where mall and shopping center traffic had hit a historic low, an agency pitch team and I won the business of Villa Enterprises. We set out to create a comprehensive Local Store Marketing Guide that standardized best practices across international franchises and corporate-owned locations. Robust social media and email marketing programs were established that focused on fostering awareness, driving in-store and establishing strong preference for Villa brands.
We also launched a series of first of a kind upsell promotions and community building programs including: a landmark partnership with AMC TV’s first season of The Walking Dead, “Moms Eat Fresh & Free” Mother’s Day affinity promotion, Villa Holiday Giftaway upsell promotion, and the Villa adVentures gamified frequency promotion. Coming out of the recession, Villa Enterprises was ranked one of Inc. 500’s fastest growing companies and its ongoing acquisitions make it one of the hottest franchises on the QSR market.
